PADI Navigation Speciality Course

The Padi Navigation speciality is ideal for the diver who is confident enough to dive with their buddy and not follow a guide, but needs the confidence of compass use, natural navigation use, and distance covered.
No more long surface swims back to the shore or boat, or surfacing next to the wrong boat at the end of the dive.
Start with your E-learning and then join your Instructor for 3 dives and learn:
- Compass Navigation
- Natural Navigation
- How to estimate distance underwater
- Dive site relocation
The Padi Navigation speciality can also count towards one of the adventure dives of the Padi Advanced Open Water Course. All the equipment necessary will be provided by the Oxford Dive Centre.
Course Prerequisites and requirements
- Padi (junior)Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training agency) and above.
Time commitment
- 3 dives over one day in open water
