 ipment works. We then head to the pool for a minimum of an hour in the wat
 er\, using the Scuba equipment and getting used to the unique experience o
 f breathing underwater!\n\nPre-requisites\n8 years of age or older\nMust b
 e able to stand in 1 metre of water\nMust be able to swim unaided\nProvide
  your own swimming gear and a towel (all equipment hire is included)\n\nWh
 at can I expect?\nFrom the introductory DVD\, through the explanation of t
 he equipment to taking your first breath underwater\, our aim is to make y
 ou experience as enjoyable as possible. Typically you will spend an hour i
 n the water with a short briefing on the side of the pool beforehand to re
 -cap what we have previously covered at the Dive Centre.\n\nHow much will 
 it cost and what do I need to bring?\nThe oxford Dive Centre Try Dive expe
 rience costs £50\, and all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and your 
 swimming gear. It is also recommended that you bring an old T-shirt to wea
 r over your swimming gear.

 ion level. This is followed by a review of your scuba diving theory\, whic

DESCRIPTION:The first step for anyone looking to get into Scuba Diving is t
 o try it! Here at the Oxford Dive Centre we offer a Try Dive experience fo
 r anyone who wants to give Scuba Diving a go. Led by one of our qualified 
 staff you will first spend a short amount of time at the Dive Centre watch
 ing a DVD\, and being shown how the equipment works. We then head to the p
 ool for a minimum of an hour in the water\, using the Scuba equipment and 
 getting used to the unique experience of breathing underwater!

SUMMARY:PADI Advanced Open Water
DESCRIPTION:The PADI Advanced Open Water course aims to expand on your exis
 ting scuba diving skills\, whilst introducing you to some new and exciting
  types of dives. You will complete five dives covering varying specialised
  areas\, including two key skill dives: Navigation and Deep. Along with yo
 ur Instructor you will decide on the additional three dives\, which may co
 ver subjects such as Wreck diving\, Peak Performance Buoyancy or Multi-Lev
 el diving.\n\nOn completion of the PADI Advanced Open Water course you wil
 l be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres (21 metres for Juni
 or Advanced Open Water).\nPre-requisites\n\n 	10 years of age or over\n 	P
 ADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent certificati
 on from another organization)\n 	Be certified medically fit to dive by com
 pleting the PADI Medical questionnaire\, including sign-off from your GP 
 if required\n 	Have completed the home study as detailed in the PADI learn
 ing materials\n
