Agulas House - Umkomass
Agulhas House is set in lush tropical gardens with a swimming pool and plenty of space to relax. All of the en-suite rooms have been creatively renovated to blend effortlessly with the calm and relaxing nature of the surrounds.
Aliwal Shoal is rated as one of the top 10 dive spots in the world, but regular divers say it is second only to the rocky ride over breakers to get there, the marine life of Aliwal Shoal is said to be spectacular. Raggies or ragged tooth sharks are regularly spotted between August and November as they use the area to mate.
Emerald Cove – Protea Banks
Emerald Cove is a quirky little holiday village in Shelly Beach, KZN South Coast, located about an hours drive south of Durban, enjoys a warm subtropical climate of sunny days and warm winters while our shores are washed by the warm Indian Ocean. Literally a few steps away through our front gate is St Michaels Beach, this is a safe swimming beach, lying protected between a tidal pool and a placid lagoon.
Protea is one of the best places in South Africa to dive with sharks. And where, depending on the time of year, you can see up to seven different varieties.
